My collection

Hi All,

Been a long time lurker but I have been following forum very closely. I just wanted to share my collection. Was waiting to add the Daytona and Cellini before sharing it.

Based on the experts, what should be my next Rolex piece?

How are we supposed to determine you next Rolex if you don't tell us what your current collection is? Or your lifestyle? Or your budget? New or vintage?

Without any information, i say your next watch should be Rolex Daytona 6263

I am going to pretend you were talking to me and use this as justification to try and get a 6263.

Omega Seamaster with white laser etched wave dial on a black rubber strap!
It will add little of something you don’t have, like a white dial, rubber strap, another great brand.

I love this collection. The Cellini really completes it for me.

Obviously a next choice would be a solid gold on a bracelet!

Great collection, looks like you have all angles covered and I would sit back and enjoy what you have before jumping into another.

But if you are too far down the rabbit hole at this stage to not add another, a Polar explorer II or a blue/white dial Skydweller would fit into the collection quite nicely.

Something with a non-black dial.

Thanks for your feedback. The daytona panda or the WG would be perfect but there is a massive waiting list with my AD. I do plan on picking either one hopefully next year.

Outstanding collection! The Cellini dress watch completes it.

You have all bases covered, sea/air/land and also a dress watch for formal occasions.....and every model in the Rolex catalogue

I would start on the next level, and look into PP/AP/VC/ALS territory

Looks to me as though you have been watching a lot of Youtube videos on what Rolex to buy next. Most of those watches look like pretty recent purchases so maybe take time out to enjoy what you have. In my experience the more you buy the shorter the "buzz" from each new acquisition.

Meh, I don't think that is fair.

He has a standard-issue Sub LN, smooth bezel DJ, a Tudor AND A CELLINI! That is more than half of his collections and none of them are hyped-up YouTube pieces. I can't recall ever seeing a YouTube video recommending to buy a Cellini.

Only the Pepspi and Daytona are "hyped" and the black dial Daytona much less so than the white dial.

+1

Most people don't get into watches and start out buying 20 year old models. The Cellini alone should at least tell you that there is something more than hype about his taste.

Firstly, thank you all for your comments.

I wanted to reply to Woody's post but didn't want to ruffle any feathers; however, it has taken me a good 3-4 years to build my collection up to this point. I was offered either the white or black Daytona, but I choose black. I purchased all of it through AD except the Tudor blackbay 58, which I got from the dealer for $2500.

I'd say my favourite out of all is definitely the Cellini moon phase. The watch looks amazing in real life and not sure why it does get the same love as other Rolex timepieces.

I will definitely post more pics of the cellini and others over the weekend!

You are not going to ruffle any feathers with me so don't worry.....this is a Forum for exchanging views and opinions......we don't always have to agree. I hope you continue to enjoy your collection and look forward to hearing about future purchases. Thanks for sharing.

You need to add either a red, yellow or turquoise OP. Your collection needs a bit of a color

If you want to stick with Rolex-I agree with others that some color is needed. A two-tone bluesy would be perfect. Also maybe a rose gold day date with a green dial?

Nice collection! I think a 6 watch collection is ideal so I would stay put if I were you. If you "must" get another then I would substitute rather than add.
