Next EXPLORER III

My late night rendering.....EXP II versus EXP III.

New movement.
EXPLORER III moniker moved down.
Wider bracelet at case & tapered at clasp (similar to 126600 proportions).
Slightly longer minute hand.

Now, my specs - Wishlist of course unlikely):
Brushed bezel - different odd-hour markings (like 1655).
Maxi rectangular hour markers similar to 1655 & current EXPLORER.
TRIPLOCK crown - thicker & chunkier look.
Thicker & longer crown guards of course.
Bracelet as above.
Bigger case (gasp, shock horror) 44mm.
Slight domed sapphire crystal.

Nice effort, thanks.

Has a bit of a DJII vibe to it with the markers and size.

That’s interesting. Which one? Can you post a photo?

Big and bold lumed rectangles vs mostly non-lumed highly finished thin batons?

I really don’t see any similarity, sorry.

Well if Rolex is capable of producing indices even close to the quality of GS, well be in good company

first change I'd make on an exp II would be a triplock crown with associated guards. The crown always looked small on that watch to me.

This is the best Exp III rendering I've seen. Trying to figure out where, if any place, a splash of green would go.

Very nice editing work, but it’s a pass from me.
Can’t get on board with the batons or 44mm. Like the bezel and crown though!

Nice effort but I’ll stick with my 16570. I do like the bezel tho.

Glide lock clasp
Green 24hr hand
Green Explorer II (not III)
I’d love to see 1655 type dial, but not what you show.

Improvements and subtle changes are good, but the size increases need to stop before every watch model starts approaching Deep Sea territory. Lol.

Cool rendering but I don’t like the bigger case idea!

Agreed, I’m not for a larger case; and the hour indices are too big also. Otherwise, nice effort, and I like the bezel.

The new Explorer IiI looks awesome! Maybe keep it at 42mm.

I vote the OP, BigPockets, to become a Rolex designer.
