There are literally thousands of watches, other than Rolex, to chose from. You all must have that 'other' watch that you like. I like watches that are a little out of the ordinary. With the emphasis on little. Not a Graham Chronofighter for instance

This is one of the 'other' watches I like. By fairly unknown maker Paul Picot. It is Le Plongeur Type C Chronograph. Just solid watchmaking with a twist. A happy watch, to be worn strolling the streets of Nice

Straight Rolex for me. Unless you want to count Tudor, but it never gets wrist time.

I gotta go with Breguet... Just too much class and heritage there, the parts they develop are used in many, many other watches. IMHO, Breguet is a true master of classy complications while not being fragile.

Along with Rolex, my favorite brand is A. Lange & Sohne. And my favorite of theirs is the Richard Lange...a/k/a "my grail"

being a general contractor/tradesman my 'other watch' is at the opposite end of the spectrum. it is a G-Shock 'GIEZ' GS 1000BJ 1AJF. i almost went with a Marathon TSAR however i was worried about its high profile recieving too much punishment to last very long
