Trade: black sky dweller for GMT pepsi

Hello everyone
I am a new member here and happy to find this awesome forum.
I am having a dilema now. I just obtained a new black dial sky dweller. I like it a lot and i also like GMT pepsi as well.

Would you guys consider trade black dial sky dweller for pepsi? should this be an even trade given both watches are in the same condition??

You just got the watch. How about actually wearing it and enjoying it for a while

I actually like the sky dweller and waited for it around 5 months from my AD. However, pepsi is growing on me day by day. By speaking to my AD, it will take a while for me to get pepsi from them. My purchase history from my AD was just sub date and this sky dweller

If the Pepsi is what you want then the sky dweller will never make you happy. Go for it if you have your heart set on the Pepsi

I would, but then again, I'm not a SkyD fan.

Interesting swap. SkyD much more at retail, but less in the market. I prefer the Pepsi GMT.

Really depends on which watch you want the most. Depends on the other watches you have in your lineup. Very different watches IMO. Which one would you wear the most? Are you a suit and tie guy at work or casual? I would take the Pepsi. I would want a GMT before a skydweller.

I would do it, cause i like the GMT more, thanks to its smaller size, proportions and more simple dial.

Okay, look. You like both watches. Odds are you're gonna end up with both.

So, no. Don't trade...it will just cost you more in the end.

Usually the case.

I wouldn’t do this trade but they’re very very different watches, weight wise, looks wise they couldn’t be much further apart. Personal preference.

Both are fantastic pieces! Why not wear the SD for a month or two and re-assess.

Personally, the SD would probably be too large for my 6.6" wrist, but I'd give it a month or two if given the chance!

I have the black SS Sky Dweller and am waiting for my AD to cough up a SS BLRO for me. I wouldn't dream of swapping in either direction. I love them both too much. If I was compelled to keep only one it would be the Sky Dweller.

To me, the BLRO is the peak of tool watch perfection and an icon, but the Sky Dweller has more visual and physical heft, feels much more solid, and is just too clever to pass by - both visually and technically. Which you prefer is not for me to tell you. Go with what sings to you. If you love them equally, hang onto what you have and be patient.

Very different watches, but they are both beautiful in their own way. I wouldn’t want to have to choose between them, the the Sky-Dweller is a special piece.

It's a hard no for me

Sky dweller is one of a kind. Excellent watch, beautifully executed. BLRO is just a GMT with a special bezel that has great hype due to the long awaited Pepsi combination. I am a little biased though since I prefer the BLNR and I always viewed the 16710 as the perfect Pepsi. But the Sky Dweller is indeed a superior watch by far.

I have both and would keep the black skydweller over Pepsi. Second time zone is easier to read on the skydweller and annual calendar so you don’t have to change the date at the end of each month.

The black sky goes with a lot more outfits over the Pepsi too. Save up and have both is my real vote!

I would never do that. By flipping your watch you will loose the trust of the AD and possibly black listed. I would wait or buy a Pepsi instead of flipping ...

If you want a purple watch? I personally found it hideous and a total pose to wear it but as they say YMMV

Yes, Pepsi is one of the iconic reference in the history books of Rolex.
