Luminor Due 38 vs Rolex 5-digit: size comparison?
Hi all
Recently, I find myself more and more attracted to the smaller of the PAMs in titanium and blue, the PAM00926. My preferable watch size is the 5-digit Rolex case at 40mm, or the 6-digit Daytona. I have a 6.75in / 17cm wrist, flat-ish. The largest watches in my collection are the TAG Monaco and the JLC Reverso Tribute Moon, which is the largest I feel comfortable with. In the past I had a PAM49 (40mm) but it felt a bit large (but mostly, thick), so I parted with it. It would be very helpful is you can post a side-by-side comparison wrist shot against a Rolex? Or maybe a wrist shot of the 926 together with your wrist size? Thanks in advance! |

I don’t have a side by side comparison but I’ve worn both watches. The 38mm Panerai wears smaller than the Rolex. The Panerai is a fine looking watch but I would definitely buy one used if I were buying. They take a significant hit on resale and the the sub-42mm take some of the bigger hits.

Thank you very much. Smaller eh? I did not expect that. I guess I have to try it one first...

The 38mm Pam looks like a ladies watch. Very small and slim and in my opinion doesn’t work. Panerai are supposed to be large watches.
