Just bought Tudor BB58 925
I have just bought my first Automatic with a good name behind it.
Having just seen the new releases from Tudor I went into my local AD to ask to try on a S&G chrono and a BB58 blue on leather Sales assistant asked why I said so I can compare them And decide which of the new releases would be the right size fit and choice for me as I can't decide between the New Chrono and the BB58 925 silver with toupe dial He then came back with the S&G chrono and the 925 I was shocked they had it in stock. They had just received it and I was the first customer to see it Wow the 925 just shouted out to me , I then compered with the blue BB58 and the difference in case finishes is marked the steel is shiny steel the silver has a shimmer to it and is matt compared to the steel, it looks bigger, its an illusion but it really does. I then thought I was meant to have this watch, what was the chances of it being there and if I turned it down when will they get another Bought it well happy my first good watch I have an 8 1/4 wrist but it fits perfectly as I don't like big watches and when driving home in my car the sun hit the dial, hands and case and the whole watch lights up its amazing. I can't post pictures, I read and look at the forum in the back ground and don't have enough posts, but I will say is if you are thinking of getting this watch compare to the other BB58s and you will buy this one it is superb... One very happy Tudor Owner |

Wow, what a great first purchase. I’ve not yet seen it in person but it definitely looks great in photos. Congratulations and welcome to the forum.

Congratulations! I saw one already but it was spoken for. Good thing too or I would have left with it. I’ll give myself some time to think about it but I keep thinking about that white metal sheen the case has.

How does the leather strap feel? Did Tudor make a good one or does it feel cheap?

I can see it wearing in sweetly and age like a flying jacket I am pleased with the leather strap but beware. It looks hard to remove without the correct tools it is tight up against the case and will require proper leather strap sqeezers to remove. It does not look an Easy job without the tools and may cause more damage than good. I would say if you want to swop out straps get the nato. If you want a good quality leather strap that matches the watch get the leather. I won't be changing mine if I was it would be to get a new one when this wears out and it would be a 1 for 1 done by an AD |
