Seadweller for a Woman, Good or Bad Idea
My wife is thinking about a Seadweller. She has tried it on a few times and likes it but then wonders if the "man's" Rolex sport on a woman is just a fad.
She is an average size woman, 5' 6" tall and the correct weight for her height. Also, I figure if she gets tired of it we can give it to my oldest son in a few years when he graduates college. Help us decide here, what do you think, Seadweller for a woman, yea or nea? |

Ask Jen. She has one and loves it. I would say it's fine for a woman.

Did she end up selling it? I know it was up in the air. But she wasn't going to sell it because of not liking it. She did like it.

It's a great watch for certain women. I can't say it will work on all women. I love it on me.... she'll just have to go try one on and see how it works! I don't have many full-body pics - but I'm wearing it here---- |

I don't think she have sold it yet. If she do she have other reasons, it have nothing to
do with the watch. Jocke

Nay!
Nay! There are so many beautiful women's models to choose from! The Lady's Datejust is such a classic; and the Cellini offers many extremely feminine choices. I have a lady colleague that wears a Cellini Lady Danaos and it looks drop dead gorgeous! For a sporty look, she might like the Oyster Perpetual No Date: they have some really pretty dials with light blue and pink batons. The stainless bracelet and case make them very durable alternatives to gentleman's models.

The area in which my school is in is very expensive, and while I go out to lunch with my friends, I always see rolexes. On friday, I saw two women getting out of a Bentley. One had on a White SS daytona and the other had a submariner. Sheesh. Had to say the daytona looked great!

I voted no, but it comes down to what she likes. I tried one on but it sits so high off of my wrist that it would eat the cuffs of my shirts, which I suspect won't be a problem for her.
It is a heck of a watch though!! |

I voted "No" for the most obvious reason.....
Hell, if all women started to wear men's watches, how the heck would the ladies models sell?

Depends on the woman: her appearance, dress, wrist, etc.

Get her the white Daytona or a YM and then buy a Sub
or DSSD for your son when he graduates.

I always thought small ladies dials were less than practical and after buying my mother a Lady DJ and presenting it to her only to have her say, "I can't see the time", I am convinced any larger size watch on a woman just works!

Here's the vote that Counts
Well she is very giddy and happy tonight.
She wouldn't let me post a full shot of her modeling the watch so you will have to settle for the wrist and hand. |
