Australian shipping
Anyone have experience buying a day date and getting it sent to Australia? I bought a datejust from Joel Hernandez last October and the exchange fees and custom fees were crazy. 11ishK Australian for the watch ended up being 14k with customs and exchange fees. Would have been cheaper to find one local. Thanks in advance

I’ve often wondered what the fees would like like. I know you would pay 10% GST.
What are the exchange fees you mention? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I think the banks foreign transaction fees would still be cheaper than paying for 2 weeks of hotel quarantine when you get home

Sounds about right. When I sold items to Australians in the past, customers would often bulk at shipping costs & local import tariffs. Then they realized the extra fees weren’t my fault. |

This is why I’m tempted to fly over and just buy in person when COVID is over lol
