Would a Pepsi add much in terms of variety to a collection consisting of...

126610LN
116610LV Hulk
116500 White Daytona
116519 Daytona
126613LB Bluesy
114300 OP39 Grape
116622 YM Blue Dial

As someone with 3 subs do you believe a 126710BLRO that is pretty much close in terms of aesthetics to a sub worth having? Oyster case with a black dial I already have, and I already have two watches with blue dials and a bezel insert fully blue in the bluesy. Just wondering if a two tone bezel insert of blue and red would really add much to the collection holding these.

Thoughts?

You have three Subs and wonder if one GMT is going to add variety

And a blue YM 116622 which is damn near a sub.

Punt that two tone sub and that 39 grape and add that GMT.

You already have an excellent collection. Adding a Pepsi will make it brilliant.

You really really need a DD40 or a SkyD.

You have 3 subs? Sell the LV or the LN and get a GMT.

You need an "air" watch for the air-land-sea trifecta.
You also need a GMT.

You have too many subs, and even the YM isn't necessary.
Drop the 126610LN. Maybe even the Bluesy and the Yacht master.

Definitely add a Pepsi if you can.

The YM is my favorite watch! And feels definitvely different than a Sub to me.

I guess Dropping a Sub in general would make sense to add the Pepsi. Dropping the LN for the Pepsi makes sense. But the Sub LN is iconic... hard decision.

Would it add variety? Sure. Are there other brands/pieces that would add more variety? Absolutely.

Do you even like the Pepsi? You didn’t mention that part. I’d go with what you want rather than ticking boxes.

It’s more the fact that you’d be adding a GMT to your very nice collection than it would be that you’re adding color (or not). The Pepsi is a great watch. But do you like it? That would be the best reason for buying it.

A Pepsi would be a great addition. If not Pepsi, something yellow or rose gold might work.

Not much difference as it still 100% Rolex. Why not look into other brands for some variety in your collection.

IMHO it would add more to your collection than having three subs

you've got 3 submariners and 2 daytona(one steel, one white gold), did you ask yourself the same question before?

Truthfully all 3 Subs give a different experience on the wrist. Same with the two Daytonas.

Well I have a black dial sub already. Have another sub with a blue bezel. The Pepsi gives me a new experience in terms of a bezel that is half red it has a black dial and a half blue bezel which I have both of. I'm curious if that's enough. I'm also curious how you feel like the Pepsi is somehow more different than 3 subs just cause it's a GMT. Visually it's closer to my collection than my other subs, in my opinion.

what i feel is not important, what's important is how you feel. if you didnt ask yourself the same question when you add your 2nd and 3rd submariner and the 2nd daytona, i cant see why you wont notice the variety that the pepsi gives you. it has a different bezel, a gmt function and jubilee bracelet which is new to your current collection. but if i were you, i would go for a brand other than rolex for variety.

Best choices are made on desire and not on calculation when it comes to watches. If you don't really want a GMT then it's not a good choice!!!

I'm going to re-iterate what some other guys have been saying : yes- add a BLRO.
And also yes stretch your already awesome watch collection into a new brand.
You'd get into a different world and I suspect you'd be very thrilled.
There's just a LOT out there.

Yes. Based on what you currently have, you absolutely need the BLRO.

My thoughts would be to get rid of your bluesy. Get rid of the 13Lb and aDD BLRO
