Delayed during a World War is understandable at least.

Still amazed that the Germans let prisoners have Rolex watches, via the Red Cross, after taking their initial ones. Maybe because they were officers doing the ordering? I suspect things would have been quite different in Japanese camps (?!)

The credit goes to Rolex - let’s not slip down the slope of political rhetoric.

Nutting’s OP was a deal - £15 in 1948 when he settled his Rolex invoice. And selling for 10’s of thousands more at auction in early 2000’s.
