A year and a half later, I finally get to wear my Pepsi

After procuring a 126710BLRO (Pepsi) from a local AD back in December 2019 for my upcoming wedding (originally scheduled for May 2020 but canceled due to Covid), I finally got married last week and was able to wear my Pepsi. I wasn't supposed to wear the watch until the wedding so I had to wait. We got married at the Four Seasons Hualalai (which is why you see sand in the picture) and even though it was a much smaller guest list than we originally planned, it was perfect.

Also, my wife surprised me and got me a Wolf watch winder for it though I won't be using it too much cause it won't be coming off my wrist. I have a year and a half of wrist time to catch up on!

See here for original thread when I got the watch:
https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=715001

Thanks again for your help 42itus!

Oh. My. I wonder what else had to wait

Congratulations and good on you. I probably would have broken down and worn it secretly at night or in the bathroom.

This also comes to mind for the Seinfeld fans

C'mon... be honest... you "tried it on" more than once. Congratulations. Here's hoping for many many years of happiness... with both, the wife and the watch.

Wish you both all the luck in the world. Something I would also have done for my wedding if I could back time! Get a watch instead of a ring.

Congratulations! Now that takes some will power to not wear that watch. Pairs great with that Cartier wedding band. Cheers

That’s a beautiful spot at which to get married. We have a house just slightly north of you. A bit overcast today, but can’t beat the big island.
