Swollen wrist.

My right wrist is 19cm in circumference. It is enough, however, that it gets warmer, I work two days on the plot and it swells by half a centimeter. Do you have that too?

Isn’t this normal? Happens to me too on hot days.

That’s where ezlink or glidelock comes into play for sports models.

Yes, absolutely normal. That is why the Rolex bracelets usually have a quick adjust to let out half a link.

Yep, in the summer I wear my Sub one glide-lock notch larger than I do in the winter.

It was for this reason (no quick adjustment) that I sold the U50 on the bracelet, as well as the Omega SMPc, although I could buy a micro-adjust lock for the latter.

Normal. I picked up a new watch at the weekend when it was hot. I had it sized but left it a little tight, knowing on normal days it will be just right. Agree my glidelock is amazing and ezlink helps a bit.

Same. The flip lock is usually too much adjustment for me.

The glidelock provides the fine tuning I need which is usually only one or two notches.

Exactly the same for me, easy link is often a mm or two too much. Glidelock is perfection!

If i wear my Sub in the morning I can get the fit spot on, whereas my Batman / ExpII starts off lose and fits me better as the day goes on

Me too. My skinny little wrist can easily expand to nearly one Easylink. My AD once commented that a lady's hand can expand and contract through three glove sizes in some instances. I don't know how much that is but it's obviously measurable.

Substances expand when they get warmer, and they contract when they get cooler.

Science!

Science!
Your circulatory system redirects blood so less volume of blood is pumped from the soft skin tissues to the kidneys in warm weather. The tissues swell with liquid. At night when you cool down and stop exercising the process reverses and you have a full bladder. Some swelling of wrists and ankles in hot weather or under heavy exercise like hiking is normal. Swelling that persists overnight may not be.

That's about .2 inches. Not too much growth!!! I don't notice it on mine.

I swell a lot throughout the day numerous times mainly to do with gym/diet. I find the east lock a much easier adjustment than finding the right notch on the glide lock (although it’s still great). I wear a sd43/skyD mainly as daily watches.

While a bit controversial, this is why I put my watch on a perlon strap in the summer.

Winter, on the other hand, is a different story…

I like to think it’s the heat instead of weight gain.

lol I’ve been telling myself that for awhile! Seriously yes heat related swelling is 100% a real thing. My glidelock on the DSSD is a lifesaver.

I just open the easy link some time in the afternoon most days in this weather

That’s for the Daytona. Subs are a breeze.

My older watches are more of a pain. Luckily they are lightweight so tend to stay put out don’t dig in as much

I recently looked at a DD but because I frequently use either my glide lock or easy link I am concerned about the non adjustable nature of the president bracelet. Anyone else had the same issue?
