*polite cough* . . . Incoming...

Well, not so much "coming", but "came". It's not a pepsi or a hulk or a "F.U." piece or anything like that, but something I'd wanted for some time. Two weeks ago, I pulled the trigger on a 2014 116234 Datejust 36 from Watchbox; blue sticks dial, comes with the roulette date wheel and jubilee bracelet with hidden clasp. Of course, I have 8-inch wrists, so I had to order additional links for a proper fit (only took 3 links to get there), and yesterday was the first chance I had to bring it to my AD to have them put the links on. Some might think that this watch is too small for my size of wrist, but I don't think so, i'm very pleased with it. Super-comfortable and classy as all hell, I love it!

Congrats on the new piece! That roulette wheel is something special. I think it looks great on your wrist. Enjoy!

How did the condition of the watch compare to pictures? Did you speak to someone over the phone about the condition of the watch?

it's funny you ask, because the original pictures had me nervous, the outer-links looked a bit..."dingy" and had me somewhat reticent about making the purchase. But the guy who helped me (young man by the name of Billy Matz) assured me that the watch was in tip-top shape, that the original pics had poor contrast, and he eventually was able to email me additional pictures of the same watch I was buying, and they were to my satisfaction. Everything about the experience was top-notch, first time i've purchased from them.

A salesman saying something is "in tip-top shape."

Is there some other kind of salesman?

I was checking out a Globemaster on Chrono24. Looked great, price was right, private seller, etc. Asked for more pics, shots of specific areas, etc. You'd think the thing had been run over by a truck. Watch out! Always!

Really cool watch, congrats! You don't want another link or two added in?

.Looking at the pic.. it seem your wrist is 'pinched', somewhat tight.. You sure you have enough room there...?

lol naw, the pic makes it look tight, but that's just because i have my hand cocked back to try and get the light to hit the dial just right...it's actually juuuust slightly loose, just the way i like it

Beautiful watch Omar! Enjoy it in good health.

I am a fan of the datejust 36. Classic size and the proportions are just right for this style of watch.
