The dude has a ring on that's half the size of the watch. Maybe that's what makes it look right.

That was funny....
Is that a second PAM on the other wrist or a bracelet? The guy is a stud.

Gee.. sometimes I wish I had his wrists! I thought 60mm was well, bit too big. If Panerai made 44mm versions then I'll be all over it!

He does use growth hormone & that thickens the bones, so that might have helped...

I do think Panerai have missed a trick by not producing a 47mm version, but wonder how the purists would react... So now Sly's up to 60mm what size will Arnold go to...? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kuObWcWNkyI

Just saw this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JHjw7B0noAk If you pause it at 1.09, you get a good view. Too big for Sly IMO. Just out of curiosity, is anyone buying the 341 to wear, or do you think it will just go to collectors & flippers?

Just collectors and flippers, you'll have quite a few paneristi who collect all this style of panerais, so they'll buy it, stick it in a case or vault and only ever take pictures of it. It's pretty much the same for all the old panerai's, not a lot of them ever get worn, just pictured. Personally i think the 341 is a bit of a stupid watch to release onto the public market, it was designed to go on a diver, over his dive suit, meaning it had to be quite large, but for normal people it's just silly, hell it's even silly for divers now as times have moved on and nobody is wearing the dive kit that was around in the 50s!

It's a special edition that should be available for any AD or boutique to put their name down for, so anyone can join a list. I still think it's a silly release as it's an unwearable watch that was created to be used in conjunction with diving gear. As for buying one, i'd look at nearly every other watch before the 341, it's just too daft to put money on, other than to stick in a vault for a future investment, which i hate seeing in watches, they're meant to be worn, not hidden away and left to gather dust

It's interesting but the reality is that for common everyday use, it looks absurd. If it were smaller, say 44mm, it would certainly have more mass appeal but at that size it just looks silly. This is just my opinion of course...
