Saw this on a FB group. Believe it’s in Philippines.

A good observation. Now that o look closer, the SA is not wearing the requisite gloves. Perhaps a regular watch shop or jewelers.

I went there a month ago and nothing was out, I asked about a few watches and was shown 1 after looking on the in store ipad.

I did not buy anything from them, I was hoping on seeing all the watches the AD does not so I could compare and pick up something special.

No sport watches that I can see. Other stuff is readily available pretty much anywhere.

Lols, full yes but not in a practical sense. A bunch of 31mm Datejust and pm SkyDwellers doesn’t constitute “full cases”. Go check out DSW lols.

I believe crime as well as low inventory has combined to make dealers wary, both authorized ones and greys.

In some, they have established private rooms for trusted, vetted buyers. “Joe public” just brings too much risk.

Sign of the times methinks.

A few years ago here, several ADs got taken for 50 or so Rolexes by smash and grab robbers who were in and out in a minute. Believe after this, the AD keeps the nicer pieces in the back/vault for VIP customers or new potential clients.

Went to my local AD last week. Only 3 were in the display case. 2 gold ladies day dates and 1 gold date just. Did get offered a gold skydweller on oyster flex but passed. Looking for a white or blue skydweller.
