Thinking of letting go my OP39 for a PAM1313

They're both roughly the same price. I have other Rolexes (Sub LN and Hulk LV, Daytona 116500 and 116519, and a Pepsi) so I don't need the OP39 just cause "it's a Rolex and the other is not"
plus the PAM would allow me to diversify the collection a bit. Although the OP39 diversifies the collection as well with the dressyness and grape dial.

Thoughts? Which would you rather own?

I would diversify. 1313 is one of the best recent Panerais.

Not a fan of either, but the size of the pam just looks a little too big for my taste so I say go with the OP.

OP for many reasons. Largely because the grape dial is unique and interesting.

Panerai is not what they use to be. I’m not a fan of their recent cost cutting manufacturing compromises.

I have the 1312, and think it's the best Luminor model out there (1313 is just a dial change). Pull the trigger, enjoy the hell out of it!

I vote diversify although a PAM wouldn't be my choice, based just off your pics and collection, I would leverage the insane high prices (for a simple OP) try to add some to the funds and get a nice PM high horology dress watch, plenty of bargains still out there for them especially if you truly are interest in watches (and fine horology).

Your situation is one of the few times I would go Panerai over Rolex.

Panerai has some incredible blue dials that you should take a look at. And they look amazing on the wrist too.

OP the last pic you posted is actually not the 1313 it's the 1393 I believe. It's 42mm vs the 44mm 1313. The other difference is there is no "9" on the 42mm which I prefer if the size is better for you.

My buddy just traded his 1313 after 6 months of ownership for a new speedy plus cash to him, and kept his OP41 if that means anything. He found the case shape a bit too square compared to other versions of the 1950 like the 233, or even just the standard luminor case.

I think it's a nice watch and I love panerai myself, but I don't like the 9 squeezed next to the sub seconds personally. I'd go with the 42mm version.

How is this even a comparison?? Panerai by a mile. Even it’s in-house P.9010 movement alone is a better design/performer in every way.

To be honest I thought that any Panerai would be laughed at compared to any Rolex on TRF...
