I think Rolex new marketing directive is not to display watches. For everything else, there is the Internet.

One of the AD’s in DC had ladies diamonds in window. and about 5-6 on case inside.
They need to have screens with virtual access to models to further help customers dream their watch.

Yup. No point stopping in to any Rolex store in hawaii. Even if they did have something they would not sell it to your average Joe.

It is consistent - everywhere. Our world is much smaller today. When will things balance out? Rolex probably can’t believe it either.

The shortage is real, obviously the ADs get much less pieces than before, and there is also much less demand anyway which drove Rolex to supply less watches on top of the pandemic - makes perfect sense. It's only a matter of months before Rolex closes shop IMHO, as we can tell from the pictures you showed.

I can’t tell if this is tongue and cheek or not, but there is no shortage and demand has never been higher.

Demand has increased to a point that nearly all Rolex are worth more then they sell for which means everyone has become a flipper overnight. This phenomenon has forced ADs to only sell their watches from the back to customers who they know and who are properly vetted. It’s just the new way of selling.

Not true for Hawaiian ADs. They love to bundle for tourists. OP, if you buy 15-20k in jewelry, more things will appear.

The watches are in the store. They just not selling it to you. I watched 2 submariners delivered this weekend. Be prepared to tell them how much you bought from them before.

I went week before last. They had a small number of mainly “undesirable models.”

I briefly spoke to an associate, making casual conversation about Daytona wait times. She was possibly the rudest sales associated I’ve encountered.

The one in the big mall (not sure of the name) had more inventory than this store did.

My visit to the Waikiki boutique was funny, as I walked in and said Hi, the SA first reply was “we dont have any sports model”
