Any information or reports on availability at ADs? They were supposed to show up in July, according to Pittsburgh ad agencies, and here we are....

True. And true.

What I think we saw, though, was a quick recalibration that showed us that the inflated secondary market price was a function of general Rolex scarcity, not surging demand for this model in particular (like the Sub, GMT, Daytona, OP lacquer).

I think that's when many ADs expected to start seeing them, not start making them available to the general public. When I first started hunting in May, most of the places I called hadn't even had one come through yet, and thought mid-to-late summer (which seems to be an overestimation).

I think that was the estimate on when they’d initially arrive (which was obviously an overestimation), not when they’d be readily available.

Yes, barely, IMO will settle in the 9K range used marketplace.

They already have, it seems. First one on c24 was over $15,000 as I remember. Note they can be had there just north of 10.

Thanks for all the feedback. It's a waiting game, I suppose. I've visited several ADs in my area. I've spent about $13.5K at one (engagement ring and wedding bands), which I'm hoping will give me some juice. Would love to pick up the new Explorer at MSRP.
