Only Watch 2021

Interested to hear if anyone has been involved in prior Only Watch auctions. How does it go? How was the experience?

Some pretty cool pieces this year and I was thinking of throwing my hat in the ring for a one in particular.

It's a charity play, with a lot of really wealthy people involved.

None of the valuations are going to make sense (obviously, and rightfully so, as a result).

Some of the indies might come through as a great bargain, though. For example, in 2019, the Gronefeld went for a steal, and I'm saddened to have missed out on it, but it went to a really, really great collector.

Yea, there are some good values with some of the lesser known/loved indies that may be worth monitoring. That GF piece from 2019 was definitely a steal.

Was considering placing a bid on the LF. Agreed the Moser is definitely a great offering too.

For those wanting to browse the entries: https://www.onlywatch.com/collection

As you scroll through the maker’s logos just click to see what they offered for the auction.
