Not a Panerai but...

would love to share this with you guys. It is not a Panerai, nor will it ever try to be, but being my Panerai friends (and WIS), I thought I would share. This is my project. Not to many details as I'm not exactly sure what it will end up as, but I have seen pictures of this American movement recently and have fell in love with the Arabic numbers on this watch. I don't know what it is about the font but I'm in love!!!!!!

Don't know much about the history, etc about this watch other than it is American made and railroad proud. Once I find out more I'll pass it on. I have a few ideas from the "big watch forum". I owe my passion for this watch to webcalm. He did an absolutely amazing job on his 921. Without further ado, my project watch....

PS. I got a feeling that one blue screw is OEM!

Awesome project Mik, keep us updated as I for one really like the idea.

Any plans on spinning the dial and moving the crown towards your wrist or the other way for a Destro look?

Thinking for my first one of doing a base or a 9 sub second. We'll see how things work out. If I want to do a destro, I'll need to buy another dial to get another 6/9. I'd need to do the same for a base too however.

Already got one ordered. I love the look of this movement.

Thanks TR. So far keeping good time to. Gained 3 secs in 12 hours. Not bad for an old American watch.
