Rolex Daytona … 41mm ???
Sorry to repost a topic that I’m sure has appeared often …
but what are your thoughts on the possible introduction of a 41mm Daytona ? It seems the natural evolution of the line, following the lead of the DateJust and Submariner. I know this is blasphemy, but in the past I was not interested in adding a Daytona to my collection … a little too “busy” … but now, having put one on my wrist, I have to have one (I know the line is long). My AD has both (“Exhibition Only”) the White Dial (Panda?), and the Black Dial (nickname?), both are beautiful, and I would be thrilled to own either … but given a choice, likely the White Dial, as from afar, the Black Dial is too close to my Black Submariner. |

It would be nice if they just got it up to 40mm. That would be a start. From past experience, a 40mm Daytona would likely be marketed as a 41mm. It's odd like that.
I hope they never make it 42mm with a date function. The temptation would be too much. |

The present Daytona size is perfect as it is. Why fix what is not broken?

The current Daytona is one of the most popular popular watches ever made. See no reason to change it.
Maybe something along the lines of an Daytona 2 though ….. |

I want them to add a Date to the Daytona.
Then I'd actually wear one. |

Rolex Daytona … 41mm ???
I’d like a superthin manual wind movement in the next Daytona, 8mm thin case, current diameter but larger subdials and more legible, plus a date at 12o’clock.
But not on this planet methinks. Remember the Rolex Veriflat? They know how to do it methinks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

To me the 116500LN is basically perfect so I don't think there's any need to change it, still I would be excited to see what Rolex would do to upgrade it in the future.

I passed on the Daytona at launch in 2016, it just looked too small on my wrist and legibility was an issue for me.
I think a larger size chronograph would be a great seller |

Sorry for yet another superhero, childish name, but I call my black dial Daytona "Venom" because once on my wrist it has bonded with me in a way no other watch has--I sleep, exercise, work with it--and it reminds me of that alien symbiote character of the same name. I sold my collection since I've purchased the black-dial Daytona and wear it 24/7.

It's inevitable, it's only a matter of time. The current model is way too small in the modern World.
