It's all fun and games... Until it's time to pay the bill

The joy of getting the call (twice in this billing cycle, and 1 more the billing cycle before)
And the reality of having to pay the bill
Oof

Early July - DJ31 for mother in law
Late July - DJ36 for wife
Mid August - Skydweller for me

My AD told me i probably won't see the other watches on my list until next year
I told her my wallet needs a little time to recover anyway so that works for me

Yup. I feel you on that. It’s exciting until the bill comes. At least I had a good amount of time between purchases to recover.

more or less gaudy than displaying a collection of a dozen high end watches and/or steering wheel of [insert high end car brand here] on the forum?

this is the reality of buying these watches

You have a point, OP. The wheel shot with the logo front and center is definitely worse.

You’re just showcasing a reality of this hobby.

Glad you were able to make the ladies happy. That matters.

I agree. Pretty tacky. So you've got plastic (much the same as all of us on here do) that can absorb multiple Rolex purchases. Big deal.

Lol….Everyone here can buy multiple watches with one plastic, I have to use multiple plastics to buy one watch….something tells me I am not top earner in the eyes of the credit card companies.

Psshhh plastic is so 10 years ago. Nowadays it’s all about metal credit cards.

New BR except it’s CC balances instead of receipts!?

Homie, we all know how much these watches cost (pics of your statement are redundant and tacky). No one here buying watches cares about your monthly nut beyond understanding it (pictures aren’t needed as the price is pretty much known). I believe you posted this because it was a potentially tough month to cover cc (but you still feel like your 44k is enough to gain clout here), otherwise you wouldn’t have even had the idea to post. If it was rough to cover maybe spread your purchases out a month or two.

Congrats on the new purchases.

It's because at the end of the day he wanted a Blue SD. He didn't get it and now he's in the hole for 44k and most likely regretting it.

What is wrong with you?

Lay off this guy! He’s not regretting anything other than having to read your accusatory posts.

Seeing a Ferrari steering wheel with a watch is fair game. Again, nobody cares about seeing his credit card bill. Poor form.

Glad you explained the rules, according to you.
Maybe Steve can make this a “sticky” for all of us, so no one offends anyone else.

I’m trying my best, at this point in life, not to accuse others of having “poor form”. You must be a younger man, having never been humbled.
