SCOOP! Pics of the new SDDSSD!
Hey guys
I have a deep throat at Rolex who let me take pics of the new prototype of the Super Deep - Deep Sea - Sea Dweller (SDDSSD). As you can see, it has a mutha of a crystal. Initial tests say it will go to 1,000,000,000,000,000 feet! Imagine this beauty on your wrist! I think the dial has been done by hand for this prototype, but we can expect the production version to be similar. I even managed to get a pic of the new HOT AIR/HEAVY AIR escape valve (HA HA replaces the helium). The test version was on a Nato. I put my GMTIIc next to it for size comparison.

Do you think the writing will survive more than 5 feet under water?

I know it's only a prototype, but I don't see a "seconds" hand--what's up with that?
