Buying a new watch...some questions...

I am intending to buy a new Panerai watch from a boutique but am quite confused. There are many PAMs that are practically the same but have different numbers. For example, what is the difference between 1392 and 2392? Or also between 1312 and 1325? By the way which measure is more representative of Panerai 22 or 44 mm.? What do you think?
Thank you ... I thank you very much.

1392 v 2392: https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=762468

As for size, buy what you like, but “classic” Panerai is 44, 45 or 47.

Buy whatever you like when it's on your wrist.

I had a 44mm Submersible and always thought it was too big and bulky for my wrist. I sold it for the 42mm Submersible and have never been happier!

Luckily with Panerai you’ve got a myriad of choices. The larger sizes are what I feel are classic

OP,

Start by deciding what style of case you like.

Then size, what size suits your wrist.

Follow this by case material.

Once you have done this, you will find just a few models at any given price point!
