20+ Years in the making

Couple weeks back my grail finally arrived sure the actually wait time was only about 6 months and the AD could have offered this to 15 other clients she said who are VVIP's a I do live in Vancouver. But her and I have a great relationship and she knew my birthday had just passed.

To me it was another marking on this journey it took to acquire this piece. Some luck and determination. When I first saw the DD in magazines and movies I always wanted one. Coming from far below middle class with some times no power even to the house, phone etc. I always dreamed big still and never accepted my surroundings. Some people make timepiece purchases to mark a birth, wedding, grad etc. A guy like me this resembles do not give up and just believe in yourself

Congrats on your journey. Like my favorite Canadian rapper said, “started from the bottom now we here!” Mine says hi.

Flawless.
To think that people pay the same for a poor legibility white stopwatch without a gram of gold!

Congrats!

Which AD did you get it from? I checked out GWC Rolex Boutique on Alberni Street when I visited Vancouver 2 years ago (I am in Toronto). It is a nice store and the people are nice.
