I got lucky last week end ! 1 full week... 3 watches.

So for those who were following. It was my bday a few weeks ago and decided I wanted a second DJ to add into the collection.

Went to an AD and was offered a DJ41 with white dial, fluted bezel and pearl bracelet. That watch in person did nothing to me and I passed on it as I did not feel it was a watch I would enjoy wearing.

About 3 weeks later I decided to pass by the same AD and they had nothing for me at this time in the Rolex line up but ended up going with a Tudor black bay heritage.

Last Wednesday; I decided to pay a visit to an other AD in my area and ended up adding a Panerai to my line up. That was an emotional / nostalgic buy and connected very well with my AD as to what my watch goals were.

Little did I know... This Saturday I got the call for something special and I decided to move forward with it. It is not my ''dream configuration'' but I wore it yesterday and WOW the dial color is so special no pic can correctly show that color's richness.

The watch I am presenting you is a DJ41 with Rhodium dial on jubilee band. (wanted something with a jubilee bracelet for a LOOOONGGGG time.

Nice collection. I’ve had two DJ’s with rhodium dials, 36 and 41; not always the most legible but love the color and variable shades in different lighting conditions.
By the way, what are your watch goals?

As much as I love rolex I am not just a rolex maximalist ! In the rolex line up those are the ones I would love to own (no timeline or order given).

DJ41 White dial / Jubiliee / Fluted
DJ41 blue dial / Jubiliee / Fluted
GMT's batman / root beer / pepsi
Submariner Kermit
Skydweller 2 tone black dial
Skydweller Blue dial
Daytona Panda

Outside the rolex line up.... those are some I have my eyes on that I am opened for.

----------------------------
Tudor Black Bay chrono (reverse panda)
----------------------------
Panerai (something in the luminor line up)

Eventually id love to get into AP's but don't know enough about them yet.

Obviously I am open to other things as well. This week end I tried a watch that appealed my eyes a lot but I was not familiar with the brand.

The strap's material felt different then what I'm used to and the overall watch looked SICK.

Congrats on the slate DJ! Your pics make me excited to experience the color variety (I get mine Thursday ). Also, what is a "pearl bracelet"? Is that a nickname for the oyster?

Sorry was typing too quick ! Meant oyster actually haha.

and yeah I love the variety idea. I also find the DJ41 wears very well as a daily watch.
