Old vs New 233

Hi all, very happy now cos I'm going to collect my 233 later! I'm satisfied though it's pre owned and J series but heck man, as long it's a 233, I'm happy.

Do you guys think that the old series 233 i.e up to K series will be more popular than the new 233 with the am/pm indicator?

For me, I know I like the dot cos it just looks simple and uncluttered and it does its job, albeit silently in the background.

Thats the reason to me getting the 233 instead of an 270 though the price differences are not that great. But being the only luminor with the "dot", I believe it will have its advantages, both monetary and aesthetically. I heard there is only 4500 pieces with the dot?

yesh only 4500 pcs ever made for the dotted 233s. Popularity, depends how many they gonna make the "arrow" AM/PM 233s... if they decided they gonna stop producing after L serial say 2000 pcs, than i say this is gonna be popular and highly collectible...

love the dot....but if no dot, the am/pm would be fine for me... heck!, it's a 233, it really shouldn't matter.
