Just Ordered a deep sea in blue

will be arriving on tuesday. can't wait.

unfortunately I had to go grey market.

No AD would even put me on a waiting list for a watch.

The only AD I had a relationship with retired so I was out of luck.

cannot believe what is going on with this shortage.

It's a unworn 2020 model.

I’m going to guess you paid about a $5 G premium or so.

I waited about two months for the AD to get mine for me. I had just a small spend history but I also would stop in for two years and talk to the same SA about watches. Without inquiring about getting one. I would often mention how I was going to want to buy another some day but not sure what model.

One day I just stopped in and told him I knew what I wanted. He said he could source it but it may take up to six months. Two months later he called me.

That’s my story

I had to pay just under $5G equivalent (I'm in UK) through gray also. Look at it though, it's only money

In all honesty and I’ve come to terms with this premium, unless there’s an unfathomable stock market crash that’s pushes us into a real depression (not a recession), and with nearly all ADs dry worldwide, these prices will continue to climb and I’d honestly grab every Rolex you can get your hands on. Gray dealer squeeze is now in as well. Expect these channels to dry up as well, minus flippers. This spell is not ending anytime soon whatsoever. It’s an event horizon.

yes 5g plus tax . insult to injury is paying tax on the markup as well.

but I just love the blue face and hey it's only paper

yeah it's best to go with someone out of state for grey purchases otherwise that tax can kill you. not like it matters in the long run though, you got the watch you wanted and can enjoy it now without waiting and watching prices go up

I really want a batman now but seriously can't justify the premium through gray for that, it's like over 100%!

I almost bought a Starbuck earlier this week. Next day I took another look and it was up $1200 or so. Mondays deal, Tuesdays Debbie downer.

This model is one of the best Rolex timepiece. If you keep it long enough, this timepiece will retain good value. The dial is so gorgeous, when I saw it, I told my SA that I would like to own one even I have a rather small 6.6" wrist.

Sorry to hear that you decided to go grey. But it's an incredible watch on the upside though

It's a beautiful piece. Crazy with the Rolex world. As more people buy gray, more won't be able to get at an AD.

Beautiful piece…. Thinking of putting my name down for it.
Have the SD43 also so not sure where it would fit in my collection.

The longer I have my DSSD the more I love it. Also, after switching back and forth between my sd43 and DSSD for several years now, there is no question the DSSD is more comfortable. It’s not even close.
