Declined list

What have you been offered by your AD that you have respectfully declined and are there any that you regret passing on? I’ve passed on a TT SD43, Exp II black dial, GMT Batman twice, and a pink dial OP 36 for the wife. Only one I regret passing on was the OP 36 but the wife wanted a tennis bracelet instead…

I’ve passed on a OP41 Tiffany and CHNR TT Rootbeer. Kind of regret passing on both.

If you say "CHNR" then you don't have to say "Rootbeer".

Maybe the AD offered them a CHNR and can of A&W. You don’t know!

Good point. My AD called me a few months ago and offered me a Rose Gold RG Rootbeer 126715CHRN solid gold black and brown GMT Master 2. I had just bought one 1 week prior from the grey

All new GMTs, various Daytonas, black dial subs, YM, olive dial DD in RG and WG. YG and WG subs. Although I REALLY regret passing on the blue dial wg sub. Only did because I have the TT blue dial sub.

Just have to know when to pass. I’ve had the BLNR on my wrist several times and it just doesn’t work for me.

That’s a heck of a list! Olive dial DD in RG or WG would be hard to pass up…Agree about the BLNR

White gold blue face Daytona about a year ago used but fresh from Rolex service for $35k! Still regret that decision.

BLRO. I passed as it didn’t look as nice on me as I would have imagined based upon pics here and it was the gentlemanly thing to do as I knew the next person on the list, they wanted it way more than I did.

Good on you. I would have loved to be there to see the face of the SA when you said no. They must have been shocked

Was told 3 years ago that my AD could get me a Hulk with a few months wait. Also offered a white steel SkyD last year but passed on it. Not sure if I fully regret turning down the SkyD though.

Air Kings...but we'll, you know.

Recently though passed on a Z blue Milgauss. I haven't asked for anything in a few years either.

In July 2020 I was offered and declined a BLNR on Jubilee. Last week I picked up my BLRO on Oyster. Worth the wait for me.

I've also been offered a TT white Sky dweller, which I gratefully accepted.

Explorer 1 39mm after trying it on a the AD and finding the proportions way off, also the new air-king and milgauss offered to me during the start of the pandemic.
