Incoming...
... as the guys on the 'modern'/'current' Rolex forum like to say.
I've been on a bit of a European road trip and picked up a couple of vintage pieces I've lusted after for a while. Lots of patina, a few dings and scrapes - and old school cool (for my tastes anyway). Just thought I'd share. Here's the first (more later - if anyone is remotely interested). |

Nice - congratulations! I can see a bit of DNA that went into the BB58 Black in that one.

Another bearing a few 'battle scars'... the watch above's big brother... or sister... or wristwatch of undetermined gender...

Fantastic!!! Wow, wow, wow!!!!
Is the 6536 a 6536-1 close to, but just under, the 400k serial range? (I've been studying lately 6536 and early 5508 dials recently) |

Love it! Makes me wonder why some in this range (late 6536-1 and early 5508) have the Red triangle 🔺️ bezel. I've seen that feature before and after. Always after 401,xxx and before 400,xxx. Makes me wonder if they were added later, in certain batches, or just for certain markets.
Anyhow, lovely watches!!!! Congratulations! |

Another I just picked up...
Many, many thanks to swish77 for all his advice while I was looking (he's without doubt one of the good guys here). It's not the very best example, it's obviously had a few polishes - but the dial is stunning and it's a full set - and for the price I managed to get it for, I'm happy. |
