Seller replied that the watch was authenticated by eBay. So much for eBay authentication! They said they would contact the client they are selling the watch for for more details.

I asked them to ask the owner what the model number is and pointed out that it is not 72200, which is of course a modern 20mm bracelet part number. Also pointed out the dial is marked T-SWISS-T, meaning pre-1999, and has yet a modern solid end link bracelet with new style clasp…

I didn’t bother pointing out many of the lume dots are crooked.

That's not how it works, so the seller was not being truthful.
It would be sent to an eBay-approved 3rd-party "authenticator" upon purchase (not before), who would then send it to the buyer once authenticated (or returned to the seller if deemed inauthentic and/or not as described/represented).
