I got the call, for a BB58 Navy Blue
I'm doing my monthly email ping to my SA. I have a bunch of watches in my wish list, the primary is the new Explorer I. But also my wife wanted the BB58, and I had told him that if it doesn't look like it'll be here by Xmas that I would go grey, and today I got the email saying they have one. I called and said take my money and give him my credit card number! I might take delivery tomorrow depending on schedule.
Additionally my SA said he'll have a TT Explorer I coming next week and I can take a look to see if I want it. I said I'm not sure but would be open to looking at it IRL to see how it looks. I've only heard good things about it, but I'm not a gold kind of guy. Also it'll be high risk of my wife taking it away from me once I get it too! |

BB58 blue is great. I took delivery of mine on Saturday. Paid a little less going grey myself (watch was new in box with papers and Oct 2021 warranty card). Thought about buying from an AD to start building a relationship but my Tudor AD is not a Rolex AD so why bother? Ha
I’m sure your wife will enjoy! |

Congratulations with reservation that some people after initial delight become bored with the blue dial and sell it within first year. Wish you luck.

Maybe true for some... but for me, watches have come and gone in the time I've owned the BB58 blue ... and it remains, on the wrist 99% of the time.

Congrats! You will love it. I have the Black and recently bought the Blue. I can’t even decide which one is my favourite. The BB58 has so much to offer you’ll’ll start wondering why you need the rest.

Hope you like the BB58 too - pretty sure when you get the explorer your wife is going to take it regardless if you get it in two tone and you’ll be with the BB.
I have both, BB58 and the explorer I in steel. Both great watches. I’ve seen the two tone explorer in the medal, and I’m not for one for two tone but it’s surprisingly very nice. The gold bezel makes the watch look a bit bigger than the all steel explorer where the very reflective straight angled bezel kind of “disappears”. It’s not like the dome bezel on a DJ36 where you really notice the bezel. And with the black dial and 36mm, it does wear a bit smaller than other 36mm. |

Got it today! took the wife over to my AD. Here's a quick pic. Interesting that it appears the bezel is a 60 click and not a 120 click. But it's very nice, in a tough kind of way. Definitely retain its tool watch feel.
