Meteorite Daytona

May I ask some advice ?

How hard do you think it would be to buy the new white gold Meteorite Daytona . I have only seen one at DavidSW . I have registered my interest with the local AD but actually think these are now almost impossible to buy , I was told he has trimmed his list from 40 to 9 . But was told he expects only one a year

Any advice would be great TIA

Was told they’re yet to see one.
The meteorite is from outer space.

Seriously, none of the AD’s I’ve spoken to say they’ve seen much meterorite anything these days. I imagine they’re all allocated to select clients rather than a waitlist per se.

Had my name down for one. Dutifully put down on an expression of interest. Asked politely a subsequent visit and we both laughed about it. And I changed my EOI to something more realistic

SUPPOSEDLY, I will be getting one from my AD. Whether or not it’s in this lifetime remains to be seen.

Extremely difficult. If you have to ask the question here the answer is probably “not gonna happen.”

People who are able to get them from ADs generally already know. They’re the type that get requests filled quickly

Not many at all released so far. Probably start seeing some over the next 6-12 months.

The one with a different time was £115 k 😆

Had a conversation with the owner of my AD and they expect maybe one this year for allocation. Take it with a grain of salt but my AD has been pretty spot on with the market. I expect this one to be hard to get for some time.

I think it would be as hard as WG GMT meteorite.

There are few things more rare than these meteorite dial Rolex watches. I have been waiting for the green dial JM Daytona for years and when I suggested to my AD that I might also like the new YG Daytona meteorite dial watch, I believe the reply indicated it might be even more rare and they have never actually seen a JM watch in their inventory…

I heard the same thing and I own the Green dial Daytona and most of the other hot models.
My AD said they still havent seen one and I have no reason not to believe him.
When you start seeing lots of them on Chrono24 then you'll know that they've been released

Buy maybe not if VIPs are going to loose their status.........I suspect in some areas of the world this will never happen as the country Rolex GMs just don't care.

Like the rainbow Daytona - I suspect these only go to VVIP … the AD’s I ask all say they’ve never seen one in person.

Op said white gold, are we talking about on of or bracelet? Probably the same situation for both but I was just curious.

Its not looking good.

I ordered the RG bracelet meteorite. It was suggested the first deliveries would turn up late sep into Oct. They don't know which combinations (YG/RG/WG - Bracelet/OF)

AFAIK, nothing has turned up yet. I've only seen 1 for sale from a grey although I don't look, just saw a pic posted the other day.

From what I gather I'm first on the list for this particular combo so we shall see.

I've got a feeling, unlike other PM Daytona's which AD's tend to get at least 1 per year, it may actually be 1 every few years for the meteorite. Like it is with the GMT meteorite.

I had my name down for RG braclet in May and the SA told me that this was less popular. She has a lot of request for WG oysterflex. Anyway both are gone crazy. NOT a VVIP of me don't think can get it.

I know the AD I use gets four SS Daytonas a year , They are considered available for existing known Clients who can be trusted not to flip them for a quick profit. But I have a feeling this is made of unobtainium !

Looking at the number of SS Daytonas in preowned market, this trust thing is not working very well :D

It’s pretty hard to get one without good history with an AD. But you won’t know till your try.

Great watch. I love anything meteorite dial because each dial is unique. I don't think these are very attainable right now, but I haven't really been looking either for anything at ADs.

Too bad the cowboys are at the top of the nfc East. Might be able to jump him if they were at the bottom :-)
