Buying a bracelet just for the clasp?
Per my inquiry, my AD is offering me a brand new EXP 1 39mm bracelet at list, from which I would take the flip lock clasp and install it on my OP39.
I would apparently need to keep my original clasp to re-install on the OP39 in the event I need to get it serviced by Rolex, as according to the AD, they won’t touch it with the wrong clasp. What a goofy rule… Anyhow, do I have any hope of recouping any meaningful amount of my $ by selling the links and end pieces of the unused EXP 1 bracelet? |

Rolex will be happy to service your watch, even if you have changed the clasp or bracelet. Don't know where all this misinformation is coming from; they do not insist that you return it to "factory settings"
What you choose to sell is up to you.

I have taken my watch to Dallas RSC with RubberB strap and they had no issues with servicing my watch. They did inform me that will be take the RubberB off and will not put it back on.
For what it is worth, you can just take the watch head and they will service it. Have done this too. |
