Double incoming in December!
I have been really fortunate this month with two incomings. I already shared my OP36 green which was a complete surprise and a wonderful Christmas addition.



This piece I have had an interesting journey with. I was offered it a couple of years ago out of the blue (forgive the pun!) I wasn't expecting because it wasn't on my list but it I went in to try it on. I was floored by the dial but hadn't quite reconciled to myself the idea of wearing a loud two tone piece. I was in two minds so I said no. Afterwards I couldn't stop thinking about it and went on to buy a Tudor two tone piece which I love. I have since regretted not picking up the Bluesy so about 3 months ago when I met with my AD I asked them to add it to my list. I am now delighted with this. It's very different to my YM and DJ and I love the colours. I am glad I have this version because I prefer the new case shape and the white text. Also it seems my timing was good as we are about to see a price increase!

Anyway I am so happy with these two additions - very different but glad I have them both.

Thank you - yes I came to the same conclusion. I just couldn't get the colour combination and dial off my mind. I just sings to me.

A double congrats! 2 beautiful pieces! The Bluesy is such a stunning watch. You can never go wrong with a blue sunburst dial imo. That's a great wrist shot of your OP with the Xmas lights in the background!

Both watches would be permanent keepers if I had them in my collection. Enjoy!

Well I had in mind to get the silver OP so wasn't thinking about the green but when they brought it out the simplicity and the matte green colour really grabbed me. It seems to shift in the light from the standard Rolex green to a darker British racing green. I love it. The new OP in 36 really works for me and I love the bracelet now it has Easylink. It had made me question if I really need the Explorer 1...

Thanks for the kind words everyone - I love the community on here. I know these are probably not most peoples first choice but I absolutely love them.

The real question is what next? I now have the YM40 rhodium, DJ36 blue, OP36 green and Bluesy and to be honest I am very happy with the collection when I include my Tudor pieces and my Vertex. I don't expect to get another Rolex anytime soon although I would love the Pepsi and Daytona (PM on oysterflex). I guess I should branch out -I am considering the Omega 321 reissue or the Glashutte Pano Lunar
