Bansky exhibition in Bristol
street artist Banksy has an exhibition in Bristol. There is even a reference to our Jimbo'76 in the 10th slide "in pictures Banksey exhibition!!

IMO the king has no clothes. I'm not a fan of Banksy or the art world that fawns at him. I dare say, the louts that pepper my exterior wall with graffiti think they have something to offer the art world too.

i dont think graffiti is crap, graffiti to me is a form of art just like anything else, if you are referring to vandalism by painting on somebody elses property without their consent then i agree with you. Banksy is cool, we had a showing of his art in Los Angeles here about a year ago.

I'd be delighted if he came to paint our fence. I'd sell it.
You hear that Banksy? I like his work. It is certainly more attractive than the commercial billboards/ advertisement graphics that adorn our highways not to mention the awful big box retail architecture everywhere.

Love it! I love anyone who has the guts to stick a finger up at the establishment and Banksy does it so well.
The chimps in parliment is I think is the best artistic statement on the ill's of society I have seen in years! |
