BLRO on Jubilee or Oyster?
Not sure if I've seen this poll before and genuinely curious as to the consensus specifically for the BLRO... subjectivity and personal preference taken into account of course. So what's it going to be? BLRO on Oyster or Jubilee bracelet?

The answer is, of course, get what you like, but.... since you asked.
I think BLRO belongs on Jubilee I think BLNR belongs on Oyster |

Jubilee for me hands down! I've always loved the Jubilee bracelet, and it also pays homage to the vintage 1675 Pepsi imo. I've been currently on the hunt for a BLRO for nearly 2 years now. I'm hoping to be able to proudly start one of those "I got the call" threads one day!

Thanks. I hope so too! Lol. I saw your incoming thread. Beautiful! A big congrats! Perfect timing too, right before the price hike. I prefer Jubilee, but it looks absolutely fantastic on Oyster too! TBH, if my AD called me with an Oyster one, I definitely would not pass it up. Enjoy that beauty to the fullest!

I never really cared for the BLNR until they put it on jubilee. For some reason it's like it changed the whole personality of the watch, in a good way for me.
As for the BLRO it looks terrific on the oyster once again and historically it just seems "right" go be back on the oyster bracelet where it belongs. Sent from my Galaxy S20 using Tapatalk |

Crazy answer but I love the way the jubilee looks and understand the history... But I would prefer it on oyster.

I agree it’s interesting to see how opinions evolve over time and the “obvious answer” bit was tongue and cheek and really just my personal opinion :)

Went through this recently as well. Gotta go Jubilee for this.
I saw a poll on this in the past, might have been another watch forum though, but the numbers were 2:1 in favor of the jubilee, and the general consensus was what was stated above: Batman on oyster, and Pepsi on jubilee. I went with jubilee mainly because I have a sub and daytona both on oysters (even though the daytona has PCL's) and 3 black dialed sports watches, just wanted the extra bit of differentiation. The jubilee reflects lots of light so be aware of that, but the bracelet is more comfortable! |
