Another one on the way
My favorite New York Seiko dealer is sending me one of these, my first watch purchase for 2022. I think this is considered a new gen of Save The Ocean pieces along with 3 other King Turtles he showed me. It's been a few years since I've had a Monster, looking forward to this beauty.

This one is part of the set of three different blue ‘ice’ tones right? I was looking at getting one by my AD said they’re limited to the US only

I don’t think so, this one is listed on SeikoUSA as a limited edition STO variant, no mention of other related models. The three King Turtle models he showed me has a “cracked ice” looking dial that comes in blue, green, or orange. I picked this one because I already have a couple of Turtles, this will be the first new gen Monster I have had.

You’re right. I totally missed the dial detail. The one I was thinking of was the SPB263 https://www.seikowatches.com/us-en/p...prospex/spb263 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

It's a great looking reference.
I picked up the Tuna version. I am impressed with the build quality and finishing. 4R35 movement is -12s over 2 weeks. |

Awesome! I love the Monster. My orange one gets a lot of wrist time.

I got the watch a couple of weeks ago, just got the Barton Bands rubber strap a few days ago. It's another beauty and a great value. Thanks Vinny at LasAmericasJewelers in NYC for getting it for me, you're the best.

What type of footprints are those on the dial? Seagull?

I'm going to guess they're supposed to be stylized manta rays similar to Gen III on the right. The first STO came out in 2018, unless I've missed some I think this is the 4th and the one the poster above ordered must be the 5th. I love blue dial watches and the philanthropic angle here is cool too.
