37 mm RO
I have a small wrist and am considering getting a 37 mm RO in white or grey
Are there any chances of getting this less popular size from a boutique or do I realistically need to go grey ? If going grey, could anyone pls refer me to a trusted dealer and what sort of price range I should expect to pay I am looking for a new piece with a grey/white dial I also like the blue dial but the premium vs white/grey dial is hard to justify I don’t have any purchase history with AP, only Rolex, FPJ, and currently working on Patek Thanks |

I personally wouldn’t recommend the 37mm for under 6 inch wrist if you prefer the sportier look.
The 15450st is still very hard to get in any color as a new client, so be prepared to wait up to 1 year+ and also need to keep in regular contact within that or you’ll be forgotten. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I have a 6.5" wrist and was considering a 37mm as well... pretty close to the size (lug to lug) of my Explorer I 39mm so figured it'd be fine... you think it wears smaller than the dimensions might indicate?

I disagree. I have a 7.5” wrist and the 37mm is a perfect fit as it has big 49mm lug-to-lug dimensions.

The 37mm RO is no longer less popular - just look at the grey market pricing. I’ve been waiting for 8 months and thinking about just going grey while I wait.

There's a more than zero chance you can get it in the boutique. Just don't know how long. Meet them in person and plea your case. Worst case you don't get it so nothing to lose.
Also I think if you are fine wearing it as a somewhat dressy sport watch, 15450 is perfect for up to 7 inch wrist. Just search in the forum for wrist shots. Between that and 15500/15400 I do prefer the 15450. |

The 37mm isn't "less sought after"- it is actually one of the most sought after since ROs wear larger. So your odds are pretty much the same as a 41mm IMO.
Like many others, I prefer this sizepoint to the 41mm.

I have 6.75" wrist, bought a 15450ST while dial from a grey since the boutique told me as a new customer expect to wait until 2023 or later. I absolutely love the fit on my wrist. It wears very comparably to my ceramic daytona, and smaller than my ceramic submariners.
My only advice when buying grey is make sure it hasn't been polished by anyone other than AP. And even then, I would prefer no polishing. |
