Buying a new Rolex.

I will tell it right away. I'm not a fan of Rolex. I love watches, but I usually buy what I like regardless of the brand. Then I needed to buy a Rolex. And I was shocked when faced with this. I’m in NY and there’s like a direct Rolex store and a sufficient number of authorize dealers. And what? No one has a watch. No one. All as one say that they have not had receive watches for 2-3 years. Well, the watches are in demand, and they may saling very fast , but "did not get any from company from last 2-3 years"? But look other . How, then, are there a lot of these same watches on the secondary market? More over, all models and actual watches include made in 2021. How Rolex Main Store says that they have not had a single pair for the last year and a half, but you can walk 5-6 blocs and buy Rolex watch on Unatorize store with an extra charge of 20-30 percent. As for me, it smells of a decent case for the prosecutor.

If you are talking about price gouging, it only applies to basic necessities. Rolex watches are not basic necessities.

New York's price gouging statute, section 396-r of the New York General Business Law (GBL) prohibits charging unconscionably excessive prices for essential goods and services during periods of an abnormal disruption of the market. The statute applies to goods and services that are vital and necessary to the health, safety and welfare of consumers and the general public. These include:

Essential consumer goods and services provided primarily for personal, family or household purposes;
Essential medical supplies and services used for the care, cure, mitigation, treatment or prevention of illness or disease; and
Essential goods and services used to promote the health or welfare of the public.

If you’re not a fan of Rolex and only buy what you like, what does this matter to you?

You’re not a fan of Rolex but “needed to buy a Rolex”?

Hopefully this isn’t a sign of what we can expect on TRF 2022!

Agree. Sounds fishy.

These troll posts (OP) are hilarious. I’m thrilled these “customers” are being shut out. Hope it continues for the foreseeable future.

What kind of power unleashes the irresistable need for a Rolex?
What happens if the need is not fullfilled?

Perhaps it's for a present for someone that requested specifically a Rolex watch? Wife? Child's graduation?

Yes. I happy with Breguet, Blancpaint and some others. I even may get Rolex from local Chinatown and no one who know me never will sink that this is fake one.

No worries, you go ahead and do that, my friend. You got this!
I am so proud of you for not having fallen for the devious Rolex plot.

And may I point out that there are forums out there specifically for replicas.
You may be appreciated more for your principles in those.

Actually what you are trying to say is that you wanted to buy a Rolex to flip it. You saw big dollars in your eyes and it did not work out. This is because of people like you.

They just mean they have not received any that they would have sold to you. They already have all the customers they need.

What is it about you that would make an AD say that they don't have any watches? Perhaps it's your vibe.

I beg to differ. All of mankind relies on Rolex. Without if, we’re doomed.

All at once. I needed to buy for a gift. I'm wealthy enough to get dirty by flipping one watch for a profit. There is little profit and a lot of headaches. I just see for the first time, something should be sold only in strictly defined places, and this never happens there, but you can buy it without any problems in the secondary market. Of course, I came across when some companies have limited editions and they are offered at first to regular customers, but never see when companies store or dealers never sale merchandise as it's having to be.
