Need some help authenticating this hulk. Thoughts

Hi all,

Found a local seller selling this hulk no box no papers claims he lost the box and papers in a flood ... price is reasonable considering the market. Would someone with a keen eye kindly provide some feedback on authenticity. Seller claims he bought it from a local AD.

Thanks

Post the pics. Most won't "click" on links.

Rehaut font looks sloppy. No box or papers on a hot watch that is easily cloned? I’d pass.

But the rest of the font looks sloppy. It’s also not a clear picture to start with. Did you Google the serial yet?

Reasonable price meaning what? You know what they say about things that are too good to be true…

Yes, my guess is he’s pretty negotiable on price Because the watch appears to be fake, which would be corroborated by his ridiculous statement that the box and papers were lost in the flood. Mine were eaten by locusts.

Looks pretty authentic

How’s it heft? Can’t fake the Hulk’s bulk.
Bracelet looks pretty good, just compared to mine.
Easy to verify but your photography might need some work.

yeah, you absolutely can fake the hulks' "bulk" and how is someone supposed to gauge it's heft exactly ?

The engravings on the bezel don't look very platinum and there appears to be no AR on the cyclops.

This is a watch that is faked frequently and fairly well- I certainly wouldn't roll the dice on this one...

A few things jump to me: serial number rehaut engraving not aligning with 5 min markers, the ceramic bezel numberings and markers being a bit dark, and the lack of flushness between case and end links in the back. Where did you find the listing, Kijiji or FB marketplace?

kijiji ... seller claims to be a hotel manager and offered to do the deal there in a public setting.

How many "local" ADs are there? If only one or two, why not contact w/partial serial number, and ask if they ever sold that watch. Tell them you don't need any info on seller, but that they claim it was a local purchase and you want to verify.

They may tell you to pound sand, but worth a try, no?

The watch is fake, plenty of issues visible even with the low res pictures.

If you can get better macro shots of the rehaut, it will be easy to tell.

Appears to be real-ish but the bezel and dial could be aftermarket. I’d pass.

I’d pass without B&P. Could be a black sub with AM dial and bezel. Could be a replica. Who knows.

100% fake. The Solid end links are sitting higher than they should be (almost flush with the lug top surface). This is a mistake that is unique to a specific "brand" of fake, which does not need to be mentioned here.

As others pointed out, the AR on the cyclops is missing, another clear sign of a fake crystal.

Run away.

Always buy the seller. Meaning you have to have some trust in who you are buying from. There is some suspicious points other have made that are dead on with the bracelet code and solid end links not sitting right. More importantly is the fact that he was asking 25k and you got him under 20. That’s a mighty big gap. Too big. If it’s too good to be true then it just is.
