Rubber Straps for Rolex

Hello All!

I am looking to put some curved rubber straps on my 114060 Submariner and BLNR. I really like the Everest straps however they are pretty pricey ($235).

Are there any budget friendly rubber straps out there that you all can recommend??

Having owned the Everest, I prefer the vulcanized straps from RubberB. Fit, fIrish and comfort is superb. Putting a $30 "rubber" strap on a luxury timepiece might not offer a great experience.

Seems like an example of not differentiating between price and value fwiw. Only the owner of a watch gets to decide what gets done with it, imho.

My answer is, don't go with chip strap due to many reasons. One being health issue with chipper straps. Rubber B and Everest are designed they straps to not harm your skin. I'm not going to great details on this, you may google it and do the research on your own, but take my word on this - don't go for chipper straps, you'll regret it. If you tight up on funds and don't want to spend $230 for good quality vulcanized with curved ends rubber strap, you can purchase it on eBay preowned for $100. Just make sure to clean it thoroughly. Good luck.

Both Everest and Rubber B are worth the money. Not worth the risk and poor fit for a crap one.

Don't go cheap on your babies.... you might loose them on a cheap strap.

Have many 'cheap' straps and never lost a timepiece. Use good springbars, or keep using the stock springbars, Also have RubberB and Everest as well. Check Amazon, Barton, eBay, Etsy, and AliExpress. Some great leather and exotic type straps on Etsy.

I agree. I have used inexpensive rubber and leather straps for many years and have never had an issue. There are some great rubber straps on ebay that I have purchased recently.This one is high quality

The green Everest on the Milgauss 116400GV looks great.

Rubber B and Everest are nice but pricey as said above. Crafter blue are nice too (here on my 16610):

Rubber B is better for smaller wrists because of the way it contours to the wrist. Everest is better for larger wrists.

you can always get $30 straps from popular online marketplace, however ,remember "you get what you paid for", Rubber B and Everest are both great straps, I own a couple of each brand, enjoyed every moment

Am curious how huge the strap collection is of those proffering only the high-priced ones? Don't get me wrong, as just today I ordered four straps totaling into the four digit range total. Yet IMHO you'd be amazed at how good those $30 rubber straps can be, and for $50 you can get some incredible leather bands on Etsy. For $60 and $100 (respectively), there are A LOT of great options.

Just heard about Crafter Blue, and so look forward to hearing back from those who try them.

R Strap is definitely worth a look. Cheaper than RubberB et al if you go for plain rubber (£46), but they also have a huge selection of two-tone rubber and also rubber-backed alligator (at a cost!) -

Not bought one of these myself, but they're apparently very good. I have used ABP Paris for bespoke leather straps quite a few times, and they're a very high quality store, so I would be surprised if they sold these and they weren't decent.

APB has orange for only $175!!!

I like vanguard but they are not really for Rolex, and prefer rubber B to be honest.

I forgot the name but there is a Chinese one with a V I think that is basically a rubber B rip off.

If anyone does know a cheaper alternative please let me know, but the difference between the real lower end is night and day.

I have a rubber b and am very happy with it. Comparable feel and quality to Omega’s OEM rubber band.

I did "moderate" research and ended up purchasing too Everest straps for a 14060M and a 16613 Blue.
$470 total.
Yes - - - I would do it again. It is likely they will last several lifetimes, too.

I did not choose any other brands as there was so little feedback on them.

If you read up, the manufacturer probably says that they should be replaced every few years. Could be indicative of the quality rubber that is used.

I like the Rubber B, but just read on this thread that Everest might be better for larger wrists. I'm at 7.75" and the Rubber B is on the last hole (non glide clasp).
