I’m selling a 1955 Rolex Submariner 6536/1, here are the details:


Dial: Excellent glossy black with gilt gold printing. The dial has aged to a satin appearance. The radium lume plots show minor degradation and react correctly when exposed to UV light. The original hands are in excellent condition and the radium lume matches. The watch registers correctly on a Geiger counter for radium lume from this era.

Case: 38mm stainless case with serial 112,xxx has been polished and features sharp period-correct bevels. The crown is a service unit. The bezel insert is one generation newer than the watch and is in excellent condition showing light wear. The reference 7206 bracelet is also in excellent condition and dates to 1969.

Movement: The Rolex automatic winding calibre 1030 movement has recently been serviced.
