FS: ROLEX RED SUBMARINER 1680 RSC Papers + FULLY SERVICED

For sale is my 1970 Rolex Submariner, reference 1680 in Stainless Steel. This is a Red Sub with a 3.0xx,xxx serial dated to 1970. I purchased this watch in 2013 from HQ Milton. It has been in my collection since then. The watch at the time came on a Nato strap. In 2020 I went to RSC NY to purchase a 93150 NOS bracelet + 580 end links and the watch was sent to their authentication department before they could sell the bracelet. This process took months as the watch was sent away (refer to photo of the initial RSC paperwork). The watch came back months later with authenticated paperwork including case serial number and I was able to purchase the bracelet and end links. All other service recommended was declined. Shortly after the watch was sent to Bob Ridley in TX for a full movement service and new glass plus everything else that was needed (service paperwork will also be included). I received the watch back in January of 2021 and had full intentions of enjoying it, however due to a change in circumstances the watch was never worn and stayed in the safe. All paper work from RSC NY and Bob will be included with the sale.

The watch has a extremely good case with strong lugs that has previously been polished with light wear from use, but never polished since I purchased it in 2013. The fat font bezel insert has aged to a dark blue hue.

The watch has an extremely nice Mark IV Red Submariner dial with some wear and patina from age. The matching markers and hands and pip have aged to a cream color. The watch comes with a correct open 6 and 9 silver date disk.

Included in the sale will be a NOS 93150 bracelet in its case and NOS 580 end links and lugs. Please note that the bracelet on the watch in the photos is my own 93150 bracelet only put on the watch for the purpose of showing the watch in photos.

There is really nothing more the watch needs at this point and can be enjoyed for many years without worry.
