Given that the TT Blue Sub Date trades at about 65% of the value of the SS BLRO on the used market, you've been well ripped off. If you bought the Sub from an AD you've been ripped off up one side and down the other. But I think you've already worked this out.

Something else sounds a bit off, although I could be misunderstanding you. When was the GMT Master BLRO SS, as sold in 2019 discontinued? Is that GMT Master a TT by any chance? It hasn't been discontinued and it trades a bit above the SS BLRO but only a few hundred £. If you bought the Sub second hand you have paid the dealer a generous mark up. Expecting a straight swap with a dealer is unrealistic, but the difference should not have been thousands.
OP had a gmt LN, not a BLRO

In that case it's a fair trade for a 13LB on the used market.

I thought the bezel insert was bicoloured. But now you mention it...

Would have never done a straight swap between these two but you had your GMT + 4700 for the bluesy??

Oh man, if you could wait abit longer, the GMT Steel is now on a rapid rise now. It could be a 1-1 swap (or a additional $1000 instead of $4700) if you would wait it out longer.

A swap like for like I may of done if its the bluesy you prefer but I wouldn't of paid anything on top. Bluesy you can get from AD for MSRP with not too long of a wait

Sounds about right, you actually made a good deal. Current valuation of the 1167100LN is US$16.1K, 126613LB is $21.9K, or $5.8K difference. The Bluesy was a bargain not long ago, but it's getting hotter by the looks of it.

Agree it was a fair trade + cash. The Sub TT 41 are going up quite quickly and by a lot.

Just enjoy it! It’s a stunner.

I thought the same , I own both models and the Bluesy is something else

The GMT LN is steel and will need a service soon.
The Sub 41 has a lot of gold , new movement and wont need a service for ten years

You did the trade for a reason - and it’s done now-congratulations on your new watch enjoy it - regret is a total waste of energy.

Enjoy the watch…… I’d say in two years or so the GMT will be worth more than the bluesy

Money is not important ..looks are
The Ceramic GMT has no presence, while the Blue Sub is the National watch of America

The bluesy is a very attractive watch, way more interesting that the GMT LN in my opinion.
Congrats.

You did not make a mistake. You got a watch which you must like more than your GMT.
