Hi all,

it's been a while since I posted some new photo content, but I just finished the review of this fabulous Doxa diver and wanted to share some details from the lens perspective. A lot is known about Doxa SUB series and there are multiple discussions and reviews online so i won't bore you with stats, just want to write my experience with this one.

The dial is the key here, it's very small (27mm) when compared with the case size (42,5mm and 13,4mm thick) but that great tonneau case just nails it with a short lug-2-lug (only 45mm). I love the fact that it's the almost 1:1 representation of the original SUB 300 from 1967. A lot of that 13.4mm thickness goes on curved sapphire and bulky caseback, so the watch actually sits quite low on the wrist. Anyway, the dial. Smallish, quirky very readable and just draws your attention. I love it, it's the best part of this watch.

Great pictures of a very cool watch. I have owned the 300 and the 300T and for my 7.5-7.75 inch wrist it is a bit small. I do own all six of the Doxa 1500T's in all the colors. A fun watch and I think the colors work great for spring/summer.

Oh wow, that's an impressive collection. I would have a hard time picking the right one during summer days

Sure, it was shot on Canon 750D paired with Canon 60mm Macro lens. Settings were ISO 200, f:13, 1/200 sec burst mode. And a lot of light, basically three light sources. One on the left, static LED light at 5000k, right is a speedlight on 1/32 power, and a third light which lights the dial. Everything was submerged in water and ink added later

Nice DOXAs in this thread!

I may be sold on the 600T Caribbean with ceramic bezel and rubber strap for a beater watch. My wrist is about 6.5”. Most recently I’ve worn watches that were 14.1mm and 13.3mm case thickness (Hublot and Panerai, both on rubber straps), so 14.1mm should be doable. I heard that the 600T wears somewhat compact, but sits high on the wrist.

Well it’s not even in the same league as your photos…but I’m happy to have recently picked up this Sub 1200T…

A bit of backstory…I bought one of these in 2012 and it was actually my first automatic watch. Wore it for a number of years but foolishly sold it after a while. I’ve had a few Doxas since then but decided that this model is my favourite so was thrilled to pick up another from a local seller. Now it’s the first watch I’ve ever owned twice!

This is a fantastic watch. I dont like divers but I love this one.

The dial color, the crystal and the BOR bracelet. Really nice.
