AP London exhibition pieces
For those in the UK it’s worth noting that AP House London have a number of exhibition pieces from the anniversary 2022 lineup. Note though that not everything is available to see at all times as often pieces are out on press shoots etc.
They have the chronos too, and the jumbo pt and others too. The only jumbo they don’t have is the RG openworked. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The YG was more pale that I had expected. I loved it, and if money were no object and if AP would sell me anything I wanted then I'd buy it, but I honestly couldn't see me wearing it more than a few times a year. The dial though is spectacular.

How's the openworked in person?

Truthfully I'd choose the 15407 all day long. But if you factor in that this is a jumbo and a new openwork movement entirely then it has to be respected. For me the simple fact is that it's too undefined and blends too much. It's a shame I couldn't see the RG model because I think that the RG coupled with the darker dial will absolutely rock.

I didn't care for the AP script at all on the Jumbo Openworked crystal....it just looked all wrong to me. Also on that marketing piece the twin batons at 12 looked slightly off too but the guys AP disagreed with me about that Did you see the Rose Gold 16202 with the Smoke dial? That was lovely. I totally forgot to take pics when I was there a couple of weeks ago. |

I’m not a fan of the transfer script either but I’d get over it on the RG model I can’t say I studied any of them in great detail, the first impression is what I rely on, so I honestly didn’t notice the 12 o’clock markers. The RG model was out on a press shoot. But the pic from XX looks pretty nice. How can you visit AP and ‘forget’ to take pics? What sort of APer are you? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thanks for the pics and stunning pieces.
Although I feel the open work Jumbo seems very underwhelming in pics compared to the 15407, what did you think? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Both will be huge hits, the pinnacle of the jumbo - and if I understand correctly, ONLY available this year. |

Audemars script on the openwork totally misses the mark. Looks like an afterthought
