Icon5 Heathrow Rolex AD Stock?

Hello all,

Anyone been to any Heathrow Rolex ADs recently? I’ve heard they don’t operate wait lists, although I think they are part of the WoS group so not sure if that’s true.

Last I spoke to them you could only register interest as no stock. Then if you get the piece allocated to you, then you have a while to pick it up from them. A week I think it is but not sure.

The trick with airport AD is that you have to do a package deal with 1 or multiple undesirable watches in order to get something like a steel sports. Wait lists don't make sense at airports.

I've been asked straight up to do a package before for a BLNR at Frankfurt airport, in my case I needed buy equivalent of €30k for the BLNR.

I work at Heathrow, I pass by the ADs almost daily and I am well acquainted with most of the people working at Rolex in T2 and T4. I have bought a Breitling Avenger from them (WoS), have gone to them for repairs many times for both my Breitling and a Rolex, yet I am on the "waiting list" for the past 4-5 years for an SS watch. Most likely I am at the bottom of a very loooong list so I am not pending on hopes.

I’m passing through Heathrow so I’ll check in and see.

How does it work at an Airport AD?

Is it situated air side of customs?

If so would you have to purchase a flight in order to collect a watch ‘IF’ you got the call…?

I find the airport questions interesting ..The last thing on my mind when traveling is to buy a Rolex .
I shop in my own country .

If you happen to catch a model you like whilst flying out I see it as a bonus. I’d only ever go to the airport ADs during travel however. Also, some of us newbies don’t have an extensive history with ADs in our home country

It's airside, at the Duty Free right next to the Gates. As a passenger the only way you can purchase something is if they have it there in stock on the day of your flight, otherwise I can't think of any other way. Now, as someone that works there, you have access to the store all the time. That's how I got my Breitling a few years back.

That’s right. The ADs are located after Security so you would need to pay for a flight just for the pleasure of visiting the AD (unless you work in the airport)

I was at Terminal 3 - on March 14th, They had nothing for sale - they did have some exhibition pieces - A Batman, Rootbeer and a steel SeaDweller and a black faced Op. They are part of Watches Of Switzerland, so i guess if you get lucky on a waiting list, you may be able to collect at one of their stores on the High St?

waste of time... exhibitions only and they don't want new customers and encourage to list yourself at a high street store. the death of "duty free" prices has killed off business for them.

I’m surprised they’re still open then, especially with the removal of duty free.
