PAM 00090 ...$5k ..is this a decent deal ?

Hi guys,

I'm interested in a excellent condition pam 00090 (stamped warranty from 2015). Box and papers..seller was asking $5500 but I was able to negotiate it down to $5k.

Is this considered a decent price?

cheers.

Sounds about right.

That is a great time piece. Easy to tell how much gas in the tank. It was 6k used before. If complete set and excellent condition I say go for it.

The 090 was the first Panerai I fell in love with. I think it was replaced with the 1090 in 2016, then Panerai discontinued it in 2020. If this 090 is a 2015, you are considering a relatively new one.

I think $5K is an excellent price if is in very good condition and it comes with full papers and boxes.

FWIW, I ended up not getting the 090/1090. After doing extensive research on the brand, I got the 233 and couldn't be happier.

thanks peeps..last question. How long do pam (eta) movements run before requiring maintenace? 5 years? I asked seller and he does not have any history on the maintenace but claims watch is running within specs.

cheers.

If you want it and can afford it what does it matter? And assume it’s never been serviced and wear it until it starts acting up.
