My AD called

The same AD who told me to go away and not ask again until 2028 to get on the WLWL left me a voice message to come by asap.

Either the market is changing or my yoga wear sent the wrong message last time.

I have noticed the same thing in multiple markets:

- AD called me again to ask if I was interested in a piece where I did NOT express prior interest.

- hearing that foot traffic into car dealers is dropping significantly. Also have been receiving unsolicited messages from dealers in past two weeks. Asking if I am still in market for a vehicle. I was in the market a year ago.

- hearing that sports card prices have been taking a hit over past few weeks.

Lots of indicators in multiple markets showing signs that “investments” are taking a hit. Especially the ones that were hyped the most.

Any idea what they called about? Or are you somewhat into surprises and will rush over there?

I think it is the ripple effect of the crashing on stock market and potential recession taking place in coming months. Speculators and flippers are not buying up those watches from AD therefore it's back to collectors. Prices in preowned dealers are experiencing at least 15% correction which is healthy for the resale market.

I think it is at least possible that some of the people who were buying from ADs and then quickly selling on sites like eBay and Chrono 24 are probably finding the watches more difficult to flip. Consequently, they may be buying less from ADs.

this is outstanding! I cant wait to see what the AD had for you!

I also think that the market is shifting for some jewelers. I had a non rolex AD call me today and tell me that my rings were out of warranty that i needed to come in for my 6 month warranty check to keep my rings in warranty. that being said I also got a text from my AD today for a piece that is hard to come by for my wife and I's upcoming wedding anniversary.

I think to suggest that the market is trending to more availability or that chewy looks pretty damn good in yoga pants…or both.

My AD called me back. I called yesterday and told her TRF said pricing falling out of the sky and I am still in need of that white faced Daytona. She told me to f#$k off and tell TRF “experts” they should keep their day jobs

At least yours offered you something.
